Departing from either Queenstown on-board a luxury coach, sit back, relax and take in the stunning location on one of the most scenic drives in New Zealand along Milford Road, while enjoying on-board commentary and various photo stops along the way.
Upon reaching Milford, you'll take a relaxing cruise on board the spacious vessel which boasts fantastic outdoor decks and indoor lounges specifically designed to optimise your viewing experience.
To ensure you experience the very best of Milford Sound on the day, your knowledgeable skipper has planned each trip based on the weather and recent wildlife sightings. As we cruise the full length of the Fiord you'll witness the majestic beauty of Milford first hand while we cruise right up close to grand waterfalls and sheer rock faces, and discover local wildlife such as dolphins, seals and, in season, the rare Fiordland crested penguins.

Amazing experience
The Milford Sound Coach & Cruise was incredible. RealNZ were awesome - great communication, friendly, and the driver was very knowledgable and shared lots of facts about the area. I loved being able to stop at different points along the journey to take time to looks at the beautiful landscape. The cruise was lots of fun. It was so surreal to see the fiord. Absolutely stunning.

Fantastic Time!
Driver was friendly and informative, coach was comfortable, cruise was beautiful, and the food and drink on board was great too.

Milford Sound
My wife and I had a fabulous time travelling on the coach to Milford Sound John and Hudson our drivers on 2 coaches were both incredible drivers and both gave very informative commentary during the trip. The cruise in Milford Sound was fabulous and great food on-board (we had fish and chips).

Incredible!
What an incredible trip. Amazing scenery, wildlife and a great driver, Brian. Very easy to book through bookme and confirmation came from Real Journeys very quickly. From start to finish everything ran very smoothly. I understand it’s tough for operators at the moment, but what an incredible opportunity for New Zealanders to get out and see NZ without the hoards of tourists. We went pretty much the whole journey with very little traffic and had the Milford Sound cruise limited to a couple of boats. Us and one other. Saw Kea on the way in and on the Sound there were dolphins and seals. The weather was great - misty clouds adding to the atmosphere And the water calm. Lots of waterfalls after all the rain the previous week. Just breath taking. You must do this trip if you can.
