Amazing Afternoon - Pure Bliss
From beginning to end, this experience was amazing! Staff were very friendly and attentive, and the surroundings and food & wine was next level. It really was a five star experience. Thank you!

Matakauri Lodge
I’ve just had the most incredible BookMe experience at Matakauri Lodge and honestly… it exceeded every expectation I spent just over 3 hours there and loved every minute. I started with Pilates, followed by a few peaceful laps in their stunning heated pool overlooking Lake Wakatipu, absolutely magical. Then came the sauna… sitting there looking through the glass out to the lake was one of those moments where you genuinely stop and think wow! After that I moved between the hot tub and cold plunge experience. The hot tubs are handcrafted by Stoked in Wanaka, lined in stainless steel (my absolute favourite finish) and they feel incredibly luxurious. The hot tub was sitting at 40.9 degrees which was perfect because I bravely attempted the cold plunge again 😂 This time I managed 5 minutes with the icy water before retreating back to the warmth of the spa! Then came dessert and bubbles… and wow. I honestly wasn’t expecting the full luxury experience booking through BookMe, but the staff treated me so beautifully from start to finish. They seated me in what I’d call the best seat in the house overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the service throughout was exceptional. Compliments to the chef because the dessert was exquisitely delicious, one of those desserts you don’t want to finish because every bite is perfection. I finished the afternoon curled up in their lounge area on the comfiest couch just soaking in the atmosphere and views. Needless to say… I’ve already booked again 😂 Next week I’m back to try the 3-course lunch experience and I genuinely cannot wait.

Relaxed and classy! Stunning views and a chance to unwind with my adult family. We chatted the afternoon away and cranked up that spa to top heat. Great for the soul!

Incredible spa day in NZ
One of the best experiences I have had in New Zealand - amazing spa, in the middle of the beauty of QTN. Peaceful, private and luxurious. All one can dream of. Great dessert, service and staff. The views are just speechless. There is nothing missing.
