A magical experience
My partner Rachel has never played in the snow. Roll-eyes… she's a kiwi. After a week exploring the area e decided a snow landing would finish our holiday perfectly. Not just a hop up there Remarkables but a proper exploring flight and landing. Scotty our pilot watched the clouds and said we can do this. Safe, professional… we landed on almost virgin snow (only hare footprints!). Truely magical. Thanks team!

Love this! What an epic way to wrap up your trip — and we’re honoured to be part of Rachel’s first-ever snow experience (better late than never, right?). Huge shoutout to Scotty for making the magic happen — fresh snow, alpine views, and not a soul in sight... except the hare! Glenorchy Helicopter Flight with Snow Landing
This was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The highlight was the snow landing – stepping out onto a remote alpine location surrounded by untouched snow and panoramic vistas was surreal. The helicopter ride itself was smooth and comfortable, with large windows providing incredible photo opportunities. The duration (25–30 minutes) was perfect for soaking in the scenery without feeling rushed. Everything was well-organized, from safety briefing to landing and return. If you’re visiting Queenstown or Glenorchy, this is a must-do activity for anyone wanting a unique perspective of New Zealand’s Southern Alps. Highly recommended for couples, families, and adventure seekers!

Absolutely Amazing Experience
Oh, what a birthday gift — I even got to sit in the front seat, yay! We booked the 25–30 minute snow landing tour, and it was truly incredible! It was my first time in a helicopter — a bit scary at first, but once we were in the air, the views completely blew me away. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking — just STUNNING! Every moment felt like something out of a movie. The team were super organised and even rebooked us later in the day after a weather cancellation. Huge shout-out to our pilot Matt — such a great guy, friendly and informative. We even spotted a couple of kea birds and took some amazing photos on the snowy mountain top! Our group of four absolutely loved it, and we all agreed this was definitely the highlight of our trip — truly an unforgettable experience!

An unforgettable experience, the pilot Charlotte was very knowledgeable of the area and skilled at flying in turbulent conditions! With stops on top of the glacier and views of the lakes and rivers, just WOW!
