Unreal views at Milford Sound
We had such a great trip to Milford Sound! The views along the way were absolutely unreal, and Milford Sound itself was just as amazing. It was also so cool getting to see penguins and seals along the cruise. Our tour guide, Vaughn, was super informative, fun and made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend this trip!

Wrong ads
Wrong advertisement 1. Pick up any hotel in queentown - there is nth like this 2. Underwater viewing at milford sound building - just explain it destroy last year but why shows that ads?

Milford was AMAZING
The journey into Milford was amazing, the weather was lousy, raining, misty and cold, but the views from the bus with the glass roof were spectacular. We opted to go with Southern Discoveries, their discount made such a difference to being able to do both Milford Sound, and Doubtful Sound in one weekend. The naughty keas provided great entertainment for all the tour buses at one particular spot before the Homer Tunnel. The coach driver stopped at plenty of scenic spots on the way in, for photo opportunities, and while on the bus he gave a running commentary, not just of Milford and Te Anau, but of NZ as a whole, which even for a Kiwi was very interesting. The cruise was a lovely boat, the casual food was very good, we opted not to do the hot food buffet, but it certainly looked worth the extra charge, maybe next time. We had a great day out!

Milford Sound bus and wilderness cruise.
This was a comfortable, relaxing way to journey into Milford Sound. The driver (Stan the Man) was informative and entertaining, plus a very skilled driver on the treacherous roads and conditions, felt very safe in the modern, comfortable coach. Boat crew were welcoming and the vessel was spotless and roomy. Thank you for the best experience:)
