Best Wedding Anniversary Dining Experience
The BEST anniversary dinner experience we could ever ask for! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Skyline Queenstown – Gondola & Stratosfare Buffet Dinner, and it was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, the service was outstanding and truly made our night unforgettable. Although I missed responding earlier to their email about reserving the best window seat, Amelia (Team Lead) went above and beyond to make everything possible. Without any extra charges, she moved us to a perfect window seat overlooking the icy Queenstown mountains — an absolutely breathtaking view that set the tone for a very special evening. A special thanks also to Olivia, who was so polite and attentive. She not only cleared our plates with such professionalism but also surprised us by serving sparkling wine and cocktails, courtesy of the restaurant, which made us feel extra celebrated on our special day. The food was incredible — a top-class buffet arrangement with so many delicious options that it was impossible to try them all. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The overall atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, and combined with the view, it truly felt like dining in a dream. We are so grateful to Amelia, Olivia, and the entire team at Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar for making our anniversary unforgettable. This was honestly the best dining experience we’ve ever had, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Spectacular dining
The service, location, food, view, entertainment all excelled my expectation. The quality if the food was very high from cuts of meats to desserts. My partner didnt even realise there was a live 1 man band playing guitar and singing he was so good, he thought it was well selected dining music over tge restaurant. It was the first thing i noticed. We had premium dining so had a window seat it was by far one of the best dining experiences I've had, we will be back

Personal experience
Dinner we felt was very expensive for what you receive. We had asked on arrival about ordering beverages , we were then told that we would have a waiter/waitress to take our order allocated table. Once we were at our table, we then asked staff members waiter/waitress if we could order beverages from them. We were then told that they do not take drink orders. No drink order was taken or ordered from our table. ( 90 minute seating ). The only communication that we had through the whole night was from the Restaurant Supervisor. The only reason that she came to our table was to inform us that our seating ends in 20 minutes. ( Never had that experience before ).

The food was good, with so many options to choose from. The view especially is breathe taking

Amazing food, lots to choose from. 90 minutes is definitely long enough. Waiters are very friendly. Loved the gondola ride
