Great experience!
We had an awesome experience. Worth the money! The boat trip was so picturesque, the little walk on the island had beautiful views and the guides were very knowledgeable Would recommend!

Good
It was exactly what I was expecting for the cost. A little bit of a description about the area on the way over to the island, an 8 minute walk from the boat to the lookout, some information at the top of the lookout and then walk back to the boat. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate on the boat ride back. Was worth it for the scenery and going on a. Island you usually can’t very easily.

It’s a dead cert good coupla hours!! What a beauty location, fab boat and amazing crew. Helpful and polite. Funny and knowledgeable. We had a small group which I’m sure helped 😁😁., but the boat is big enough for larger groups, easily. Really enjoyed our afternoon.

Rather disappointing Activity
I've used Book Me every time I have visited New Zealand and every activity has been brilliant but this one is best described nicely as "underwhelming". The skipper was brilliant and engaging however it was hardly a "cruise" and more of a boat journey to an island. My complaint is with the "nature walk" that was not what the blurb on Book Me says. It specifically states that "you can expect to encounter many species of birds that are difficult to sight elsewhere in New Zealand" and therefore, whilst nature is unpredictable, you at least expect the nature guide to mention bird life. She was simply there to take you to a higher point on the island to see a view (that also could not be described as "spectacular") . I specifically asked about birds on the island and her answer was that we would not see any and there was not much on Stevenson's Island. The error here then lies with false marketing narrative which is misleading. It depends what you want to take away from a trip and if it is nature then give this one a wide berth and spend your money better elsewhere.

Spectacular Cruise
The trip was amazing. The staff on board were so friendly and knowledgeable. I had my retired parents with me and our walk up to the top off the island was really accessible only 2 wee bits where a wee bit step but nothing taking a tiny bit slower didn't matter. Highly recommend it to anyone.
