The views on takeoff and landing—both ways—were unreal, and the cruise through Milford Sound just sealed it. Photos can’t capture the scale here: the sheer height of the surrounding peaks, the snow-capped ridges, the waterfalls that seem to fall forever. It’s one of those “you have to see it yourself” experiences. If you can swing it, take the plane in and out. The views are extraordinary, and our pilot was fantastic—smooth, confident, and brought us right up close to the mountains. Absolutely unforgettable. Wow.
