We booked on my a few hours before setting sail for the sunset cruise. Dave and Jess were brilliant, they are the working operators of the Barbary. The pizza was great, the drink choices were plenty. But to just experience the travel under sail, powered only by the wind was surreal. Dave did multiple circuits in front of the carvings to allow each side of the vessel to have some good pics, even allowing those that wanted, their own titanic moment up the front. Sailing back to dock, as the sun sets over the lake, with nothing but the wind powering us home. Picture opportunities aplenty. The best v aslue for money experience of my time in New Zealand.
