We booked this place for an afternoon break while we were in Rotorua. It’s cheap and decent number of visitors on site (we didn’t get stuck in a queue, played 18 holes of mini golf in a smooth run) there are a lot of animals on sites, the rabbits are too hot to running around, they just relaxing under the tree shade. But we could still play the parrot and puppy at the front desk. It’s pretty hot in Jan in Rotorua but this mini golf place is very cool and comfortable, my kids were having a good time and we spent about 1.5 hours here. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Great Maori culture experience ever! This place is recommended by a lot of friends, it not only has great views, but also explained a lot of local Maori cultures and how their village were formed. We loved their Maori performance, and also learnt to performance with them! It took about 2hours to visit the whole village including all the lookouts. A great afternoon experience! P.S. bring some New Zealand dollar coins for the kids in the river, they work hard to earn their school bag or Brand new Xbox!

It’s clean, quite, and claim bathing environment for adults that is over 14 years old. The adults definitely could find some peaceful and relaxing here! For the kids, they could explore the trail and Maori village nearby. The whole trail is very easy for all age groups. The Maori village is very quiet and plenty to see and explore. My kids loved it and took three rounds before they got tired! The only cons is that the water is different from the Polynesian Spa. Based on the feedback from my group, they didn’t got the feeling of smooth touching on their skin after bathing, the water is a bit more like regular house bath water. However We could see the water is directly from the geyser, maybe just different minerals.

I chose this cruise because I read a lot of positive reviews about it: small boat, not crowded, nice captain, two water falls experience, longer trip, free hot tea and coffee. And they have everything people mentioned! There are about only 30 people on this boat at 2pm. Plenty seats for everyone, even when everyone stayed outside (boat front and second deck) it was raining heavy at first, but everyone got hot tea/coffee after boarding. The captain is very experienced and kind the explain everything we need to know, the nice staff even gave us second heads up for things to photograph. My kid had a great chat with him and learnt he is very experienced sailer and helped to caught the biggest Colossal squid in the world in early 2000. I am very pleased that he is very kind and nice talking to my kid. Again, I would highly recommend this cruise company to others, especially you don’t like big crowd of people or get water falls on you, twice!
