Fun in the sun
I grew up in otorohanga and just come home for a hoilday from melbz had an eye for adventure so ziplining was on the agender Awesome way to see our beauitful country & enjoy catching up with whanau at the same time our two tour guides were so neat some good stories

Exciting but safety risk
Overall activity is good, but some safety concerns are there. The last Zipline going upto 80kmph gives you a sudden stop and up for some shock on ur back or neck. Instead of looking at the problem (missing key points in ur pre activity training speech) the rude trainer chose to argue and blamed the reason to be my listening, my English language skills, and my carelessness. The lady trainer was very amicable and warm in her behaviour.

The last zipline is the fastest and most exciting zipline of all and is the highlight for most people, we show people the stopping system before heading up to do the last ziplines and explain that it is fast and that we stop you very quickly which is approximately over 20 metres of stopping length on average depending on various factors. We do all we can to show and explain the stop repeating instructions at the top as some people may get a fright especially if they are backwards at the end however we have had no reported back or neck injuries requiring attention and regularly get told that it is a softer stop than other fast ziplines that clients have experienced. In fact we have put a lot of work into making adjustments to making it a soft but fast stop. You did talk to us about this and we asked you repeatedly including as you were leaving if you had any neck problems to let us know as we do care deeply that clients go home safe and you repeatedly said that you had no neck or back problems so it is a surprise that you would write this in your review. Please call us if you want to discuss this further.
