Take on Redwoods Altitude, a fully guided high-bridge and zipline treetop adventure set among Rotorua’s towering redwoods.

After being fitted with your safety equipment and completing a full briefing, set out on a two-hour journey up to 25 metres above the forest floor. Cross 25 suspended bridges, soar across 3 ziplines and, if you choose, finish with an optional final leap. Feel the rush of a controlled 4-metre freefall before being gently lowered to the ground.

Your friendly, expert guides will support you throughout the adventure, helping you take on each challenge at your own pace. Along the way, learn about the history of the redwood forest and hear stories shared by your guides.

With 10 participants per tour, Redwoods Altitude offers a personal and supportive adventure for families, friends and anyone ready to step outside their comfort zone.

Your adventure doesn’t end there. Entry to Redwoods Glowworms is also included, offering a completely different experience within the forest. Step inside a dark, aboveground eco-cave where thousands of living glowworms illuminate the rock walls and ceiling.

Amazing experience

Had the best time!! I am terrified of heights but really wanted to give this a go to test my abilities. After I crossed the first bridge, my fears were getting the better of me but our super supportive guides Tenaya and Chloe were amazing. They we very encouraging, knowledgeable and made sure we had fun and always made sure we were feeling safe. This became my favourite experience of my trip to Rotorua. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be back. Even if I am still scared of heights.
