Taupo is the home of skydiving in New Zealand, and who better to skydive with than New Zealand's #1 Rated Skydive operation - Taupo Tandem Skydiving! We've been operating for over 25 years and have thrown over 200,000 people out of planes.
If you're holidaying over in Rotorua and have skydiving on your bucketlist, then we are here to help! We offer a FREE shuttle service once daily from Rotorua to Taupo with any purchase of a skydive. Simply book in for our 12,000 ft jump and we will come and pick you up!
Our shuttle service is completely complimentary. We will pick you up from your Rotorua accommodation (or i-Site) at 12.30pm, arriving in Taupo for 2pm jump time. We will then drop you back in Rotorua at approx 5pm - 5.30pm (weather dependent).
A skydive in Taupo is like no other experience in NZ. Our landscape is truly unique. You'll get insane views of snow-capped volcanoes, scenery from Lord of The Rings (hello, Mount Doom!), and of course unbelievable views of Lake Taupo. You can trust in our highly experienced team to take care of you throughout your entire skydive experience.
This option is for our 12,000 ft skydive, but you can upgrade to 15,000 ft or even 18,500 ft on the day for an additional cost. Please note that we are a weather dependent operation. It is important to call our dropzone approx 1.5 hours before the pickup time to confirm the weather and your shuttle.

Skydive Experience
- Your experience starts with a FREE pickup from your Rotorua accommodation at 12,30pm
- Enjoy a scenic 50 minute drive to our dropzone located in Taupo (the home of skydiving!)
- Our friendly team will help check you in and answer any skydiving questions you may have. Then, it's time to get suited up and meet your tandem master!
- Take a 15 minute scenic flight up to altitude, where the doors will open, and it's time to get to jump!
- Your tandem master will throw both you and him out of the plane where you get to free fall for 45 seconds! It's a feeling you'll never forget! Your tandem master will then pull your chute where you will get to enjoy a gentle parachute ride back to the dropzone.
- It's time for high-5's and hugs because you just completed your skydive!
- After you've caught your breath, it's time to hop on the shuttle back to Rotorua (arriving back at approx 5pm - 5.30pm)
