Maori Rick cravings

Great family experience. Being able to jump into the water is a.bonus. Highly recommended.

Fantastic fun cruise

The guide was wonderful and informative, making us feel welcome, providing information and refreshments, and even giving us the opportunity to swim near the carvings! A really fun couple of hours, highly recommended

Traditional sailing tour

We really enjoyed the two hour sailing excursion - very reasonably priced, amusing commentary with a chance to take a swim in the lake if you’re brave enough as it’s super cold.

Average experience

The experience was a bit disappointing, the tour guide was dull and with no motivation and enthusiasm . They only stopped for a couple of minutes for swimming , on previous cruises it was way long. Not much of interaction , so was a bit dull. FYI for everyone it’s an electric cruise so it’s slow compared to other cruises.

Exceptional

Our skipper, Lloyd, was a sensational, personable, friendly, adaptable and easy- going host. He bent over backwards to accommodate our family and even let our son pilot the vessel for a while. Highly recommend this local, small business to visit the rock carvings.
