Pleasant and Informative
There is so much information in the museum and the walk about the local volcanic eruption. Super interesting. The walk loop showed some remnants of the local village. The site is well kept. The waterfall is awesome but has some steep steps - be warned. We are glad we went. A fun activity was to dress up in old clothes and have a photo.

Buried village
We visit Rotorua quite frequently for a break away and this was the first visit to the buried village. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience even though it was all quite sombre Also enjoyed the coffee and scone along with the hosts

Great experience
Great tour at the very start of the experience. Lady took us to the VR experience and it was amazing!!
