Explore the road to Milford Sound with up to 17 scenic stops along the way concluding with an amazing cruise with towering mountains and spectacular waterfalls.
Our "Extraordinaire" tour is the most comprehensive tour which includes magnificent views of the mountains beyond New Zealand's largest lake, three glacier carved valleys and photo stops in abundance.
Your day is highlighted with a cruise on Milford Sound on a small cruise boat tour. You will be up close to wildlife and have the chance to see dolphins, seals, albatrosses and the very rare Fiordland Crested Penguin (in season). Your cruise boat will also get you right up close to stunning cascading waterfalls.
Along with exceptional personal service, your local guides will share their experiences and knowledge along the way as we travel through awe inspiring scenery. Interaction with them is always invited, and questions along the way makes for an interesting and fun time.
Whilst we always plan our itinerary at the start of the day, we pride ourselves in the flexibility of changing the order of stops if inclement weather prevails.
Our guides are fully trained on all camera/phone devices, and will make sure to end up with a perfect album of memorable images of your day with us!

Superb
What a fabulous experience. The weather wasn’t great and we were not sure if we were going to make it to Milford Sound as there was no guarantee that the tunnel would open. Our guide Steve was fantastic and ensured we had other stops along the way and rather than wait in line at the tunnel he included a bush walk experience. We made it and Milford sound was spectacular. Our driver/guide was definitely one of the best ever as his knowledge of the environment was exceptional as was the way he effortlessly incorporated his experiences and anecdotes into his commentary. Definitely recommend taking a tour …and this one!

Escape the crowds.
Highly recommend. Had a great time. Travel from Te Anau and do the tour over the winter. The boat was only 1/3 full. Our tour guide was top notch too! Thank you!

Wonderful day
I am so glad I did this tour. Our guide Tania obviously loves her job and the area. She was great fun and informative. The cruise was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour!

Milford sound Tour
My first visit to Milford Sound was amazing! The driver was friendly and gave patient explanations about New Zealand’s wildlife and landscapes. I highly recommend this tour.

멋진 밀포드사운드 크루즈 투어
즐거웠던 밀포드사운드 투어! 테아나우 홀리데이파크에서 묵는동안 이용했습니다. 리셉션 바로 앞으로 정확한 시간에 픽업 왔어요. 밀포트사운드 크루즈를 가는 중간중간 중요 viewpoint에서 내려 설명을 듣고 간단히 둘러봤습니다. 그냥 지나칠 수 있었던 곳들도 설명을 들으니 달라보이더군요. 가이드도 매우 친절하고 즐거워서 더 즐거웠습니다. 중간중간 재밌는 이야기도 많이 해주셨는데 영어 네이티브는 아니라 많이 못알아들은게 아쉽더라구요. 크루즈는 배 크기에 비해 사람이 많이 타지 않아서 쾌적했습니다. 45분 크루즈 투어로 알고 있었는데 편도 시간 기준인건지, 예상보다 더 길게 볼 수 있어서 좋았어요. 밀포드사운드는 비가와도, 흐려도, 맑아도 제 나름대로의 멋이 있으니 추천드립니다. 또한 테아나우에서 가는 길도 험하니 캠퍼밴 운전보다는 가이드 투어를 추천드려요 :) 아, 그리고 후기가 끝날때 즈음 밀포드사운드의 웅장함을 담은 영상을 볼 수 있는 지역 영화관의 티켓도 주시는데 구글 평이 좋더라고요. 저는 아쉽게 못갔지만 함께 즐기시길 추천드려요. 더불어 밀포드사운드쪽은 다른 남섬 지역과 달리 습하고 추운 경우가 많으므로 따뜻한 옷과 방수 바람막이 등을 챙기면 더욱 좋습니다.
