The Outdoor Bath Experience at Fern & Feather Retreat in Southland invites you to unwind in lovely warm water surrounded by lush native bush and birdsong. Designed for two, this tranquil soak offers a private, rejuvenating escape into nature’s rhythm.
Daytime visits are especially rewarding — as you relax, you may spot tūī, bellbirds, and other native visitors at the nearby nectar feeder, often just metres away. The dappled sunlight through the trees, the gentle breeze, and the forest green hues create a peaceful connection with the natural world that feels alive and grounding.
The baths are thoughtfully sheltered to ensure comfort in most weather, so you can enjoy your soak under soft daylight or, if you prefer, stay into the evening as the glow of candles and fairy lights transforms the scene into something quietly magical.
