There are now 3 Merlin Entertainment business units all using the same check-in facility. From a resources perspective, this may help the bottom line but from a customer experience perspective, check-in fell well short. This is not my first time visiting Sydney Aquarium, 3rd from memory. The water was not clear and the once painted rock formation to resemble coral which added colour are no more, it's just grey rock. I hired a room for a couple of functions in the Greater Barrier Reef section and the product experience was simply outstanding. I visited the same location (it's the last underwater viewing area prior to exisiting) and it was a fraction of it's former self, very sad.
