Heading through the opening of Whenuakura into the small lagoon was fantastic - it’s beautiful and feels like a really special place. Our kids also loved seal spotting as we paddled around Whenuakura heading to Hauturu Island. Our guide, Miles, was super friendly and informative and helped make the experience one of the highlights of our NZ trip so far.
