This fun and exciting challenge requires you to use all your cunning and survival instincts as you navigate an underground lair that was built for the preservation of cave trolls.
After taking an elevator ride down into the depths of the earth to the cave you'll have to solve a range of riddles to complete the mission - just be careful that you don't stay down there for too long or you might end up being someone's dinner!
Will you complete the mission? You're going to need all the help you can get so make sure you work along with your teammates so you have more chance of survival!

Nick and Peter are fantastic at their job. Highly entertaining for adults and kids. Loved every minute of it.

Troll fun
Our family of 8, 10 and 12 year old children loved the troll cave. Peter who is often mentioned in the reviews was amazing with our inquisitive kids questions, leaving us adults with a chuckle at the answers. It wasn't cold, long sleeve t shirt and pants were fine. There is a water at one point (and another if you step off the side of the track at the beginning like Mr 8 who saturated his shoes) but not enough to need a towel. Scary at times but all forgotten once you exit. Great fun.

Thanks very much Kaye for your great review - which is much appreciated ! Inquisitive kids get a lot out of this experience - especially if they're backed up by their awesome parents. The objective is to take them to the edge of their comfort zone ie feel the challenge but do it anyway :)

Family Fun
We took 3 8 year olds, a 5year old and a 3 year old. They all loved it but did find it a little scary. The tour guide was fantastic. Well worth the money spent.

Waitomo trollcave
100% Recommended – An Absolutely Fabulous Experience! Our visit to the Waitomo Trof Caves was nothing short of incredible. We drove two hours to get there, and it was worth every single minute of the journey. From start to finish, the experience was magical. We went as a family and enjoyed every single bit of it. The way the caves blend reality with fantasy is so well done – it feels like stepping into another world. Everything is beautifully crafted, immersive, and full of surprises. A special shoutout to Peter, who was absolutely awesome. His energy, knowledge, and passion made the whole adventure even better. If you’re thinking about going, don’t hesitate. It’s fun, unique, and unforgettable. 100% recommend – truly fabulous!
