With its leisurely pace, stunning scenery and exciting little rapids dotted throughout, this is a relaxing scenic float perfect for first-time rafters or those just looking for a bit of fun out on the water.

Take a break from technology and entertain the kids in the great outdoors, or build up your confidence to take on a more advanced rafting experience - whatever the case this scenic raft is an awesome way to get amongst nature with friends!

Notes

  • CANCELLATIONS IMPORTANT:All bookings cancelled will occur a 20% cancellation fee. Booking cancellations within 48hrs prior to booking time will be entitled to a 50% refund.Any cancellations made by Wellington Rafting will be entitled to a full refund.

    Family Pass - Price $650 if purchased separately - Discounts shown from this rate.

    Minimum age is 5 years for passengers.

    Minimum 4 passengers to confirm a trip departure.

    Please bring a towel, swimwear and dry clothes for after the trip. Please note, this is roadside rafting so changing facilities are limited.

  • Please make your own way to the meeting point:3/9 Jupiter grove, Trentham, Upper hutt.

    Alternatively return transfers from Upper Hutt Train station can be organised for $20 per person. Please specify you would require Upper Hutt transfers through the check-out and the $20 per person can be paid on the day directly.

Exhilarating fun

My 2 teenagers and I had the best time. We arrived late, were unprepared (no togs or towel), but then went on to the have the most fun. We loved everything about the trip -- Hamish made it a total blast. Super highly recommend.

Fantastic Experience!!

My four teenage kids and I had an awesome time doing the Grade 2 rafting in Upper Hutt. It was a great first rafting experience for them. Our guide Carter was a wonderful host and he helped us have confidence even though the river was very high that day! In the end we ALL jumped off the rock which was a thrill. Amazing day that we will definitely do again. Thanks Carter!! 👍 Btw It was worth paying extra for the photos to help us remember what fun we had.

Fun until the end

3 Friends and I did the rafting experience and it was really fun. We did some rock jumping and it was a nice experience. The problem was that I gave hamish my phone to take pictures. He put in a dry box but somehow he fell off the boat into the water with my phone in his pocket. I've reached out to them but i have no response yet. The phone has some damage and obviously I want it to get repaired.
