Rental easy but no light
The rental process was easy and the bikes were nice, with bags to hold your belongings. However, our booking was supposed to include lights for the tunnels but they had run out, so neither me or my friend got one. It was hard (and unsafe) riding through without a light, in future I suggest the company gives one light per group if they are running low, or ideally makes sure that the people that have booked a light get one. On a positive note, the young man behind the counter was friendly and gave great customer service!

Hiya, thanks so much for your review, so glad you had a great time out on the trail! Yes unfortunately we were caught short with lights last week - definately not an occurrance we want to repeat. It's absolutely important for every bike to have a light when they go out on the trail, but due to a few circumstances colliding last week (an unusally large group taking the majority, a bunch were lost / broken, plus a busy time of year) meant that a few groups were without. We have since ordered a bunch more, to stop this occurring again in the furture. Your safety is definately our top priority! Great day our.
The bikes were great. Well maintained .staff were pleasant and helpful. My husband used the mountain bike and I upgraded to an e mountain bike which was powerful enough to make cycling much easier in the strong winds

Excellent service
We had a great experience on our Kaitoke bike ride. The bikes were good quality and the staff helped us to adjust them. The staff also gave a thorough description of what to expect on the bike ride. We would highly recommend them.
