Step into a haven of tranquillity at Franz Josef Glacier Hot Pools...
Nestled among the lush native rainforest in the heart of Franz Josef, the Glacier Hot Pools provide a truly unique setting for absolute relaxation.
The West Coast is known for its water which brings life to the rainforest and shapes the surrounding landscape. This ample natural resource has been harnessed to create an experience that revives your tinana (body), hinengaro (mind) and wairua (spirit).
On offer are three main hot pools of varying temperatures, along with three secluded private pools, spa and massage treatments and a licensed café.
The pools are located in the heart of Franz Josef township at 63 Cron Street, and are walking distance from most accommodation. Franz Josef is a two hour drive from Greymouth, six hours from Christchurch and five hours from Queenstown.
Kia Ora Bibi, Thank you for taking the time to place your review. It is great to hear you had good times in the pools and that you would recommend our facilities! We would love to see you back at the Glacier Hot Pools again one day.
Kia ora Marco, thank you for the review. Great to hear you had lovely time relaxing!
Ruhig, angenehm, einfach entspannend
Kia Ora Ludger, Thank you for taking the time to place your review. I am pleased to hear you had a relaxing time!
Kia Ora Carl, Thank you for writing this review and providing us with good feedback! I agree getting out of the pools into a warm area would be awesome! And would be great to have food back there too. We will pass all of this information onto our management team for them to take into consideration. We hope you enjoyed your time here in Franz Josef, and hope to see you again in the future.
Kia ora Franziska, Thank you for the review, we appreciate you sharing your experience. It is indeed a great rain day activity, and with no time limit you can be here as long as you like. Nga mihi, Georgia
