Enjoyable experience

We were pleasantly surprised by this. It felt a bit like a small, local museum with interesting information about much more than the kiwi. The tuatara were a bonus too. A enriching way to pass time on a rainy day.

Good for when it's raining

Good way to spend 2 hours when it's raining. The penguin feeding is definitely a must see

Close up to kiwi and ownguins

A great opportunity to support the good work they do in rehabilitating kiwi and penguins and you do get literally close enough to touch - but resist of coarse. Plus some local history and geology.

Kiwis, Blue Penguins & Tuatara

First time seeing Kiwis -! It's nice to see them in an open kind of area, and not a glass cage. Blue penguins are so cute - wish we could've had the chance to feed them, but their food intake is being monitored so they are well taken care of especially they are mostly rescues. It's a bit pricey though.
