This Airlie Beach Scuba Diving Tour discovers the underwater coral reef life of Queensland with the option to snorkel or scuba dive in the Whitsunday Islands including Black Island and Cockatoo Point on Hook Island!
The Whitsundays is home to a large range of colourful tropical reef fish, with diver favourites such as Maori wrasse, Queensland groups, Batfish, Parrotfish, and a beautiful range of angel and butterfly fish. As a good indicator of a healthy coral reef system, divers may also encounter Hawksbill turtles, Olive sea snakes, Featherstars and reef sharks!
Black Island and Cockatoo Point have favoured snorkelling and diving sites, with both sites offering a gentle drift dive along the reef slope close to the island. The islands are surrounded by a healthy and diverse range of hard and soft coral, with plenty of shallow caves, gullies and ledges to explore!

Awesome Airlie Beach Scuba Diving Tour
We had a great day out on our Airlie Beach Scuba Diving Tour with Aqua5. Paul and the dive instructors were fantastic and helped my girlfriend complete her first introductory dive! I also had a great dive with the certified divers and saw some awesome coral and fish. I have dived a lot over Australia and this was in the top 3 dives as it was relaxed and there was so much aquatic life! Big thanks to all the team at Aqua5 I thoroughly recommend this Scuba Diving Tour :)

Snorkeling - Mid March 2023
Awesome day! Plenty off fish from small to big. Beautiful coral to see as well. The snorkeling team are super friendly and helpful. They guided us to specific areas that they thought would be best to swim towards. Our group was super lucky and got more visibility than most days which was about 10m but they said they usually get around 5m. They kept an eye on all the snorkelers to ensure we were in safe areas and weren't going out too wide or far. They had beers on board to purchase for on the way home and supplied muffins and small sandwiches. They also had a water Esky so you can fill up your water bottle. Overall would definitely recommend! Remember to take your waterproof go pro or a disposable underwear camera like we did (Big W & JBHIFI great for them and only like $30 for 27 shots)!!
