bookme negligence

bookme has slipped here. we booked and paid for 4 people's fees. only found out that the Revelry Bar is closed for the holiday periods. fair enough, but bookme should have known. However Darren from the Bar has emailed me about that and willing to leave the reservation opened for another day for us, that was very gracious, as we didn't want to go back to bookme and perhaps spent unnecessary time to clarify the situation. thanks Darren.

Good food, but not so good ambience and service.

Good place in terms of food, more like any bar would have. Nice pizzas, sides are good. In terms of service very average, the staff wasn't very proactive in terms of taking care of the table and taking orders. They didn't have half of the whiskey from the menu we asked for. And the lighting was really poor. We had to use our phone to read menu. I understand they are trying to create a nice, cosy vibes, but a little more lighting would make it way better. I brought my friends for dinner, and they weren't happy with the service. Overall, an average experience.
