Embark on an exciting one-and-a-half-hour clear bottom kayak adventure along North Auckland's coastline.

Just north of Auckland, the coastline provides the perfect setting to witness the marine life at play. Keep an eye out for majestic stingrays lounging in the shallow waters.What made the stingray blush? It saw your bottom!

Bring the whole family on this family-friendly guided tour, ideal for beginners and conducted in calm, safe waters suitable for children aged 11 and over. No prior kayaking experience is necessary! With a guide-to-customer ratio of 1:10 in double clear kayaks, you can paddle with confidence.

Duration

  • Allow approximately 90 minutes for the whole experience

Location

  • Within 10km radius of Waiake Beach, Torbay.
  • The exact location of the tour will be emailed to you the morning of the tour, this allows us to pick the best location depending on the days weather.

Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 11

  • Suitable for children 11+ but must be accompanied by an adult.

    Younger children are welcome if the conditions are suitable, but you must contact Canoe & Kayak directly after booking to check the conditions on the day and if possible, add them on directly.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.
