Jenny Marshall said... If visiting Green Island to snorkel or swim check the tide times. At low tide you can’t really swim on the sandy beach but it’s easier to swim out to the coral by the wharf. At a higher tide it’s a long and when we visited quite a choppy swim out to the coral by the wharf but the snorkelling off the beach was fine. We saw turtles and a reef shark. The boat trip was smooth and pleasant. We would visit again but would check for a better tide time next time.
