I had the time of my time cruising out to the Māori carvings on Lake Taupo. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather and the skipper and crewman went above and beyond to make it a relaxing experience, providing interesting commentary about the history and geography of the lake. I was the only one who wanted to go for a swim so I was nervous if I needed to have a short swim but I was encouraged to enjoy my swim for as long as I liked. After viewing the carvings we had a wonderful cruise back via the Eastern shorefront. Simply the most magnificent way to spend a half-day. Thank-you!
