Join Mitre Peak Cruises for the experience of a lifetime and discover the world-renowned beauty of Milford Sound
Venturing further and closer than any other cruises in the region, you’ll be truly immersed in the breathtaking beauty of this spectacular location!
Sit back and relax as we cruise the length of the 16km Fiord, venturing past the iconic Mitre Peak to the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Be sure to keep an eye out along the way for seals basking in the sun, pods of dolphins and even the rare Fiordland Crested Penguins that can be found seasonally within the region.
Our 2 hour cruises have strictly limited passenger numbers, ensuring you an intimate and authentic experience of one of the world’s most beautiful scenic destinations. Whether sitting inside our out on our viewing deck, you will have fantastic unobstructed photo opportunities as your knowledgeable and friendly skipper provides a fascinating commentary on the highlights along the course of the cruise.
Dream day. Sunshine, dolphins, beautiful waterfalls, Mitre Peak - amazing!
Goes out significantly further than the other cruises, touching the Tasman Sea
We were late for 3 min and they charge $300 for new booking that’s not worth it
Kia ora Tejaskumar, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed. While our team tries to be flexible, we must adhere to fixed departure times per the guidelines of the Milford Sound harbour. To help avoid any issues, we request that all passengers check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure. In this instance, your group arrived after the vessel had already embarked on its voyage as scheduled. We happily arranged for you to join another provider at a significantly reduced rate for your group of eight. We’re sorry to hear that this solution didn’t meet your expectations. We intended to ensure that, while you were unable to join your scheduled cruise, you didn't miss out on a beautiful day in Milford Sound / Piopiotahi. Kind regards, Mitre Peak Cruises
Value for a great experience
Kia ora Ryan, Thank you for the five stars. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the cruise. Kind regards, Mitre Peak Cruises

Smaller boat but left a big impression
I've been lucky enough to visit Milford 5 or 6 times. My previous two had all been on the large flashy cruises. I was sceptical at first with the size of the boat... But this turned out to be a bonus. Closer to wildlife and p.o.i. and smaller friendlier crew. Highly recommended. In all, a surprisely
