We spent a chilly summers day here from open till close. Enjoyed lunch, but please cook the pizza more so that the cheese melts. The pools were so clean and perfect. Staff unobtrusive and friendly.
Thank you for your lovely review and for spending the day with us, Charlene! We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed the pools and found them clean and relaxing, and that our team made you feel welcome. We also appreciate the feedback about the pizza and will pass this on to our kitchen team. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
Clean and a nice place to relax..
Thank you!
Was nice but not quite what we were expecting
Thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your visit, although we're sorry to hear the experience wasn’t quite what you were expecting. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and hope to welcome you back to Tekapo Springs in the future.
A simple place with only 3 pools. Just be aware that the hottest pool reached only 38 degrees, so 1 degree more than the average temperature of the body. And note that the pictures of the view are all from a raised angle that is not representative of the view from inside the pools.
Thank you for your feedback, Kristin. Our pools are designed to offer a relaxing experience with temperatures typically ranging between 36–38°C, which many guests find comfortable for soaking.

Tekapo hot springs
Beautifully clean heated pools with great bathroom facilities which supplied nice flowing soap, shampoo and conditioner. Something we didn't know was that you can leave the pool premises with your wristband and return later, so basically the entry fee could cover a whole day. The views from the pools are beautiful whatever the time of year! The only downside is the expensive entry fee, although bookme did provide us with a small saving. Perhaps that makes it peaceful as there were very few people using the pools when we were there. I'm not sure that the pools are natural hot springs.
