Relax and unwind in the hot pools, overlooking Tekapo Lake and Two Thumb Mountain range!
We absolutely loved our visit to Tekapo springs - was a fun day for the whole family! Nice hot pools for the adults to relax in, but not too hot that the kids couldn't join us, floating rings for the kids to use - and the water play pool was fun for both adults and children alike! One of my favourite features was the family changing rooms which made it so much easier for you to get changed together, especially when you have little ones! The grounds were pristine, and a nice cafe to enjoy food and drink when you got pekish! I woul.100% rate going there again!
This was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed just kicking back and relaxing in the hot springs. Weather was perfect and the team working there were lovely...
The heating of the pools was amazing Areas around all the pools were neat and tidy and very safe to walk on Change rooms/ showers and toilets were very nice and clean.added bonus was the shower gel/ shampoo and conditioners The shade over the pills were nice Was disappointed that the other 2 pools didn’t have jets or water features/spray Felt a bit boring in them Enjoyed the pool with the water features /sprsy Also the views from the hot pools were very very minimal. Not impressed Pics on the website not sooooo accurate Pools needed to be more elevated to get the views promised on the website
As the titles suggest the name is misleading to many international travellers. These pools are not natural hot springs. Nor are they heated by hot springs. These hot pools were excellent value, and we enjoyed our stay especially the all-day re-entry policy. The staff were all very helpful with any enquiry we had.

Tekapo hot springs
Beautifully clean heated pools with great bathroom facilities which supplied nice flowing soap, shampoo and conditioner. Something we didn't know was that you can leave the pool premises with your wristband and return later, so basically the entry fee could cover a whole day. The views from the pools are beautiful whatever the time of year! The only downside is the expensive entry fee, although bookme did provide us with a small saving. Perhaps that makes it peaceful as there were very few people using the pools when we were there. I'm not sure that the pools are natural hot springs.
