The waitress told us as soon as we arrived that the restaurant was booked out that night for private function and they opened at 5pm just for us. While we were seated and having our meals, the staff were moving tables and sweeping the floor nearby to set up for the private function. It really made us felt like we were a bother to them. We felt very unwelcomed and rushed to finish our meals and leave. We don't mind paying for a nice meal and we spent most of our money on eating out in queenstown, but for a restaurant that charges so much (even with the discount), the food was average, the portions were very small and the service certainly had been very disappointing and hindered our whole experience. I wouldn't choose to go back.
