Amy Harris said... This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience - probably owing to the fact that there were only 5 people on the bus the day I went, and the only one going from Queenstown. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was like nothing else in New Zealand. The coach driver was great and provided a more personalised experience (esp. because of the # of people). She stopped in many different places along the way so we could take photos, and I was so grateful that she stopped on the side of the road when we saw kia around - big highlight of the trip (good ol' A6!). The cruise was alright, but there were too many people on the boat that it was hard to get good pictures. However I did get a video of the dolphins that came to say hi briefly. The surroundings were beautiful and it was nice to be able to go inside sometimes since it was freezing! They only provided complementary tea and coffee, nothing else. And as a non-tea/coffee drinker this was a bit disappointing. I would prefer if hot chocolate was an option (and probably so do the kids that are there). The food was incredibly expensive - I recommend taking your own lunch.
