Great automated narration. Not really much to see but there is an amazing home built in the rocks by the local iwi
Love the new start from Ngongotahā :-) A fabulous adventure and the countryside is just beautiful. Loved every minute!
We experienced a cart breaking down in front of us and appreciate that this could happen even with excellent maintenance regimes. It was however not appreciated that there was no communication or updates on the situation unless we reached out and asked what was going on after sitting in a stationary cart for ages. Further to this, the team did not seem to have a plan in place and the experience was completely ruined. Sitting in a cart for over an hour and not knowing what the plans are and nothing visibly being done was really frustrating. We ended up returning late to the start point and miserable after this poor experience.
The staff was great, however the views were a lot of dead or excavated gorse. If it was cheaper, then maybe it would have been value for money, but otherwise pretty expensive for what it is

We had a wonderful time and Shelley the guide was great. I think it may be a good idea to add a tip top freezer or something for when you get to the mamaku cabin and maybe have cash sales or something there. Would make the summer trips even better
