A must do when it Rotorua .... all aboard!
We had great fun on this trip along the former Rotorua railway. The trip goes for over two hours and went through fabulous scenery and great views of the lake up and back. The team really personable and had a great vibe. All in all it was a different activity and quite unique, for that alone make sure to get on board.

Cruising a different way by rail
Enjoyed the experience of rail cruising. The travel to the station and back was a nice amount of travel time and the commentary was good. The young crew member who set up the cars and turned the rail cars around at the other end was very nice and friendly. Great view on the way back over the water.

A memorable family adventure
Rotorua Rail Cruising offered a truly unique and unforgettable experience for our family. Traveling on the historic railway line via an autonomous vehicle was a novelty that none of us had ever encountered before. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic journey, allowing us to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings without any distractions. I highly recommend this experience to families with children and anyone who appreciates a peaceful and scenic mode of travel.

Rail cruise
We had a wonderful time and Shelley the guide was great. I think it may be a good idea to add a tip top freezer or something for when you get to the mamaku cabin and maybe have cash sales or something there. Would make the summer trips even better
