Soak up the soothing healing benefits of a Deluxe Lake Spa at Rotorua Polynesian Spa...
Thank you for your continued support. Yes, the Deluxe Lake Spa is a special place, especially with that gorgeous view of the Rotorua Museum and Sulphur Bay. We hope to welcome you back soon.
We loved our visit to Polynesian Spa. We went to the Deluxe Lake Spa side, and it was lovely. (This was my first time at Polynesia Spa) We did go in the evening when it was dark, so I'm sure I would have appreciated the beauty more in daylight, but it was tranquil and enchanting in the dark too. Would love to go again.
Visited here with my daughter midweek and we nearly had the whole place to ourselves. Was such a beautiful time
Thank you for visiting with family. So good that you made use of the midweek times when we are often less busy. We hope to see you back again soon!
The facility is beautiful! BUT! We arrived at 9:30 PM, thinking the facility closed at 11:00 PM, which would give us nearly 1.5 hours to enjoy. We were informed that pool use needed to stop by 10:45 PM, which was fine since we’d need time to shower anyway. However, at 10:00 PM, we were suddenly told we had only 30 minutes left. As a result, we barely spent 40 minutes in the pool and spent the whole time worrying about the clock. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
Hi Tanya. Thank you for your feedback. We close at 11pm which means everyone needs to be showered, dressed and on their way out by then. We start our evening pool emptying and cleaning procedures at 11pm when our night maintenance crew comes on. You should have only been asked to vacate the pools and proceed to the changing rooms at 10:40/10:45 pm though which would have given you an extra 10 minutes. We will certainly bring this up to our pool management team. We are sorry to see that this made became anxious around time instead of enjoying your soak. Hopefully you can return for a really long soak and come visit us earlier in the day.
The hot pools were very good but was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the café not accepting cash. I thought cash was still legal tender in NZ. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN if they support a cashless society
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that a cashless payment policy won't suit everyone's preferences. Our cashless policy is communicated throughout the guest journey, including on our website, at the entrance, and at each point of sale, so guests can make an informed decision before visiting. We have adopted this approach to provide a faster, safer and more hygienic experience for both our guests and our team. Our site has been cashless for close to 6 years. Thank you for taking the time to share your comments.

Deluxe Spa
Although I've been here many times before, this is the first time I've gone to the Deluxe Spa area, and it's the only area I'd go from now on.
