From Polynesian Spa - Deluxe Lake Spa
Thank you for your lovely review! It's wonderful to hear that you made the most of the different pool temperatures and enjoyed a peaceful soak in our Deluxe Lake Spa. Taking time to unwind in our natural geothermal waters is such a special part of visiting Rotorua. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!

Hot Spring Bliss
The facilities were clean and well maintained. The hot springs were worth every penny! Went in very sore, left feeling loose and happy! Highly recommend

Relaxing Pools with a great view
I always enjoy visiting the Polynesian Spa. There are so many pools in the Deluxe Spa side, with such a great view. I also love the cold plunge pool. I will happily visit many more times!
From Polynesian Spa - Deluxe Lake Spa
Thank you for the 5-star review and thank you for continuing to visit us! The Deluxe Lake Spa is a beautiful spot to unwind, especially with the lake views and a refreshing dip in the cold plunge between soaks. We look forward to welcoming you back many more times.

Could be better
Pools are lovely but the experience was not deluxe. We went in the evening so hate to think how noisy it would be in the day. Surprised to see children in the area and also so many people on their phones. Noisy as people were talking and playing videos without earphones and generally being inconsiderate. Heated loungers are lovely too. No staff visible in the area - it would be good to see the area monitored and people told to abide by the rules. We love Wai Ariki - that is a true deluxe experience!
From Polynesian Spa - Deluxe Lake Spa
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed our geothermal pools and heated loungers, but disappointed that the atmosphere affected your overall experience. Our Deluxe Lake Spa welcomes guests of all ages, and we do ask everyone to respect the peaceful environment by keeping noise to a minimum and being considerate of others. Playing videos aloud is certainly not in keeping with the relaxing atmosphere we aim to provide. We appreciate your comments regarding staff visibility and monitoring, and will share these with our operations team. We recognise that a relaxing environment is an important part of the Deluxe Lake Spa experience, and we’re sorry we fell short of your expectations on this visit.

Close early not 11pm
The facility is beautiful! BUT! We arrived at 9:30 PM, thinking the facility closed at 11:00 PM, which would give us nearly 1.5 hours to enjoy. We were informed that pool use needed to stop by 10:45 PM, which was fine since we’d need time to shower anyway. However, at 10:00 PM, we were suddenly told we had only 30 minutes left. As a result, we barely spent 40 minutes in the pool and spent the whole time worrying about the clock. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
From Polynesian Spa - Deluxe Lake Spa
Hi Tanya. Thank you for your feedback. We close at 11pm which means everyone needs to be showered, dressed and on their way out by then. We start our evening pool emptying and cleaning procedures at 11pm when our night maintenance crew comes on. You should have only been asked to vacate the pools and proceed to the changing rooms at 10:40/10:45 pm though which would have given you an extra 10 minutes. We will certainly bring this up to our pool management team. We are sorry to see that this made became anxious around time instead of enjoying your soak. Hopefully you can return for a really long soak and come visit us earlier in the day.
