Bliss
We chose a great time to enjoy the pools as there we had the pool to ourselves, could have spent longer but had only come for a day trip!

Self-care must when visiting Rotorua
The Polynesian Spa is always on my list when visiting Rotorua. The pools are beautifully situated on the edge of Lake Rotorua and have a number of pools to choose from. I highly rate the cold plunge between pools - I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Disappointing experience at the hot spring
We were really disappointed by the service here, especially from one of the older female attendants in the women’s area. While we were still taking our belongings out of the locker, she slammed the door shut loudly without saying anything — no greeting, no smile, just an obvious sense of impatience. It felt very rude and even a bit discriminatory. For such a well-known tourist spot, you’d expect a welcoming attitude, but instead, we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. This was supposed to be the premium pool area, yet the experience was far from premium.
