The weather was not perfect, but they warned everyone brfore leaving in case they decided against going. The crew knew so much about the whales and we saw some amazing whale behaviours. Truly wonderful.

Up close and personal experience with the Hervey bay humpback whales. A truly memorable and educational trip, well worth it. With very knowledgeable and friendly staff on board. I loved that they offered us refreshments during the trip that was a really nice touch.

I had been whale watching many years ago and whilst road tripping checked out Book Me for deals to take my husband and son out onto the bay. Hervey Bay is a fantastic place to see the whales. There were plenty of whales with calves by their side - this just made it all extra special. We went in the afternoon and the water was a little choppy, which seemed to make the whales more active. Breach after breach - it was spectacular. The Whalesong Cruises team were great and really looked after us bringing out lunch directly to us, so that we could keep watching on. The best thing about the afternoon cruise was that we captured the sun setting as we headed back to the marina. My husband had never been whale watching and thought it was a not to be missed experience.

What an amazing experience! I was a little nervous as my daughter has autism and had chosen this for her bday; I was unsure how she would go. Our pilot Josh put us at ease straight away with his gentle and relaxed manner. He was very professional and knowledgeable not only about the plane but telling us many facts and interesting stories about the area. We loved it and the 1/2 hr went way too quickly, felt very safe and my daughter said as soon as we got in the car to leave "let's do it again tomorrow " highly recommend this experience!

We got really close to the whales and saw some really interesting behaviour (as shown by our tour guide's face in the picture). You really feel close to the whales in such a small boat, but if you were wanting a relaxing meal and things maybe pick one of the bigger boats.

A wonderful tour with an easygoing knowledgeable crew. It was beautiful out on the water, we went to a delightful little island that you could walk around in 5 minutes. Snorkeled over some live coral. Had a chicken and salad wrap for lunch. To top it all of Travis sang a welcome song in his local tribal language and played and taught us about the didgeridoo. A delightful day

What an experience! I got to swim within a couple of metres of a huge humpback whale. The crew were fantastic & were always checking how they could help. Having low numbers on board made it all that much more personal. We will be back.

I did the 2 day 1 night tag along tour and had an amazing experience. Our tour guide Scott was full of knowledge, and made the trip really fun and exciting. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the most fun possible. The food and accommodation were really good. The trip was action packed but still ran really smoothly. Would definitely recommend this tour!!- and super good value on bookme.

The Pacific Whale Foundation ( non-profit & research organisation) runs a fantastic 3 hour whale watching tour in Harvey Bay. They operate a very fast & comfortable 40 ft vessel that has a toilet on board. Everyone has a fantastic view. A great commentary is provided by a qualified marine biologist. We saw heaps of whales frolicking in the bay. The whales came right up to the boat ! Because the vessel is very fast , plenty of time is available to locate and watch the magnificent whales. Great value for money and an unforgettable experience. It is good to support a Whale research organisation by taking the trip. A free return trip is offered if no whales are seen!

What a wonderful afternoon we had.The staff were fabulous. The seafood platters were filled with the best prawns, oysters, scallops we have ever had. We meandered slowly as the sun set over Hervey Bay enjoying the beauty of Fraser Is and the surounds. The Whalesong vessel is very modern and clean. A complete must !

We had the most fabulous day out with Wil & the crew! Nothing was too much trouble and we learned the Aboriginal words for the things we saw which was really interesting! We saw turtles and various fish and huge eagles and other nesting birds on the islands. We would definitely recommend this tour to everyone, young and not so young!

The boat was very comfortable and provided excellent,clear views of the Whales right down at the waterline. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and you could feel their passion for these creatures when they commentated. The captain made sure we got to the Whales quickly and safely.An excellent tour that we would love to do again.

What an amazing experience!!! Staff were informative and welcoming. The weather wasn’t the nicest but we braved the drizzle and sat outside and got to see the majestic whales waving to us, it felt like our own private tour. We can’t wait to do it all over again.

We had a wonderful time on the tour. The guides worked very hard to ensure we had a full whale experience. We also saw dolphins and a sea snake. The afternoon tea was tasty and plentiful. The boat was spacious and comfortable with nobody having trouble getting close to the action.

We're so glad we chose Pacific Whale Foundation for our tour. The crew and researchers were friendly and able to answer all our questions, we learned so much about the whales. The day we went out there was so many active whales that we took almost 500 photos ?

We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon trip and were treated to several groups of whales, including quite a few calves. We took our one year old who had a blast and explored the whole boat, and we all enjoyed the refreshing afternoon tea.

We had the best time on the turtle discovery tour. The crew were super friendly and knowledgeable And happy to answer any questions we had. Visibility and conditions weren’t great for snorkeling but We still jumped in and had a go. All Snorkeling gear was provided at no additional cost. Lunch and afternoon tea were provided . Stopped and had an explore on round island where we were treated to a traditional aboriginal welcome and didgeridoo demonstration. The wildlife did not disappoint with 4 turtle sightings and 3 pods of dolphins. Would recommend going on this tour.

We could see not only swimming whales, but also jumping whales, waving their fins, and whales with their mouths open. I am happy to see whales very close. The staff were also very kind.
