Experience the beauty of K'gari (Fraser Island) on this two-day tour designed for adventure seekers. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned 4WD coach as you visit must-see attractions like Lake McKenzie, 75 Mile Beach, Eli Creek, and the Maheno shipwreck. This tour also offers unique experiences exclusive to multi-day trips, such as bathing in the Champagne Pools and hiking to Lake Wabby, an emerald green oasis.

Day 1 starts with pick up from selected Hervey Bay accommodation and meeting points between 7am and 8am before heading to River Heads and crossing by ferry to K'Gari. We spend two full days visting UNESCO World Heritage-listed locations and enjoyingK'gari's most comprehensive tour itinerary. Spend the night at K'Gari Beach Resort and unwind after a day or exploring! Day 2 we head back out on the island for a full day of exploring before heading back to Hervey Bay, arriving back at your Hervey Bay accomodation between 6pm and 7pm.

Accomodation on the Island:

Enjoy an evening atK’gari Beach Resort, located on the shores of the spectacular 75 Mile Beach.

Shared dormitory rooms are allocated to males and females and contain:

  • A private ensuite with bathroom and shower facilities.
  • Four comfortable, cozy bunks.
  • A friendly, social environment.
  • Full access to the resort's facilities.

Your accommodation includes shared dormitory rooms with ensuite bathrooms and access to resort facilities like free WiFi, tennis courts, and a lagoon-style swimming pool. After a day of exploration, unwind at McKenzie’s on 75 Bar & Restaurant.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Depart from Hervey Bay, visit Lake McKenzie, explore 75 Mile Beach, and see the Maheno shipwreck.
  • Day 1: Relax at Eli Creek and enjoy the scenic views.
  • Day 1: Check-in at the resort and enjoy the facilities.
  • Day 2: Visit the Champagne Pools and hike to Lake Wabby before returning to Hervey Bay.
